Survival by *nelena "I adore this picture. Not 100% anthro, looks a bit were, what is so rare. I like so much she how drew the character into the background. Its looks so naturally. Also the background, and the soft colours on the whole picture is so great."

Description

I can't believe this one is finished. I have this really relaxed feeling, when you're accomplished something and you're to lazy to start something else. I probably will spend a few hours staring at no place at all and then start all over again with something new XD

:iconbloodhound-omega: is the b est inspiration ever. When she's over here I manage to do things I'm usually to scared even trying. I'm not sure if she's doing anything special (she's not poisoning my coffee, I know that XD) I think it's her mere presence which is dripping of inspiration ^____^

So.. something about the picture:
Anima Species: Banded Palm Civet (They're so awesome *_*) I used references from a book...
Background: lil waterfalls taken from a calendar
Tools: Water colours and coloured pencils
Time Taken: Not sure... I spent weeks on it, but I was doing other stuff as well.
I'm happy of: The fur
I don't like: The water (as always)
State: Not for sale... I might be selling a few limited prints if anyone's interested

Character and art © by me

Male or female? What do you think? ^^

Edit: OMG... DD Ö___Ö That's like christmas. Thank you all so much for all the nice comments and favs. *happy* *__*
And special thanks to :iconqzurr: and :iconkatmomma: for this very special Christmas present <3

It's definite a SHE-MALE ;-)

But, hey, Nel, i know your drawings from the good old days from the "SEA-RABBIT" ;-) - you really reached the next level (and i liked your drawings already in that days)
:-)
